Write CV bullets that prove impact, not duty

A duty tells a recruiter what your job title already told them. Impact tells them what changed because you were there.

The pattern Action + scope + result. Keep it one line where you can.

- Before: Responsible for weekly reporting. - After: Rebuilt weekly reporting for 4 teams, cutting the reporting cycle from 2 days to 3 hours.

- Before: Handled customer queries. - After: Resolved ~60 customer queries a week at a 94% first-contact resolution rate.

- Before: Assisted with onboarding. - After: Onboarded 21 new hires and wrote the checklist now used across the department.

Numbers you already have You do not need a finance dashboard. Count people, tickets, accounts, hours saved, error rates, revenue touched, or how often something happened. Estimates are fine as long as they are honest and you can defend them in an interview.

Never invent A tailored CV should reframe real experience, never manufacture it. Every claim has to survive one follow-up question.
